Bill Thomas
Bill Thomas rejoined the Billikens department of athletics in September 2006 as associate director of athletics for business and facilities operations. SLU's director of ticket operations from 1995 to 1999, Thomas was assistant director of ticket operations for the St. Louis Rams for seven years before returning to the SLU campus. Thomas is responsible for business affairs and the annual operating budget for intercollegiate athletics. He will prepare department revenue/expense projections, implement and maintain business/accounting systems and budget forecasting to ensure departmental financial integrity. He will also manage all athletic facilities related issues. With the Rams, Thomas successfully managed the daily accounting and reconciling of multi-million dollar ticket sales revenue and season parking revenue. He also managed financial reporting with National City Bank. He drafted and updated ticket office operation procedures, including season ticket renewals, invoicing, ticket printing and postseason planning. Before joining the Billikens' staff in '95, Thomas was assistant ticket manager at Western Kentucky University from 1993 to 1995. He earned his bachelor of science degree in business management from the University of Akron in 1991 and achieved his master of arts degree in sports administration from Kent State University in 1993.
